# EarMaster vs Rhythm Training

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rhythm Training at weekly against EarMaster's every 2 months. Rhythm Training also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). EarMaster's advantage is ratings volume (429 vs 50) and review sentiment (81% vs 71%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EarMaster sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Rhythm Training sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
