# Pipe Puzzle 2 vs Screw Puzzle

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pipe Puzzle 2 at none against Screw Puzzle's 20. Pipe Puzzle 2 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (45% vs 21%). Screw Puzzle's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (69K vs 82). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screw Puzzle sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Pipe Puzzle 2 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Screw Puzzle holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screw Puzzle has 69K ratings behind it against 82, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Pipe Puzzle 2's written reviews are positive against 21% of Screw Puzzle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
