# Ímesh vs X

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ímesh at 100% against X's 14%. Ímesh also leads on iOS requirement (8.2 vs 10.0). X's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 11 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

X holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: X has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Ímesh's written reviews are positive against 14% of X's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ímesh ships an update every 11 months, X every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
