# Aloha Browser vs RedApp Lite

Aloha Browser and RedApp Lite both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 77% of RedApp Lite's written reviews are positive against 49% of Aloha Browser's. RedApp Lite also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). Aloha Browser's advantage is ratings volume (315K vs 393) and chart position (#104 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aloha Browser sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and RedApp Lite sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Aloha Browser against 4.6 for RedApp Lite. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aloha Browser has 315K ratings behind it against 393, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 49% of Aloha Browser's written reviews are positive against 77% of RedApp Lite's.

Aloha Browser ships an update fortnightly, RedApp Lite every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
