# Aloha Browser vs Door Browser

Aloha Browser and Door Browser both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Door Browser's written reviews are positive against 49% of Aloha Browser's. Door Browser also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Aloha Browser's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (315K vs 35). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aloha Browser sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Door Browser sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Door Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aloha Browser has 315K ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Aloha Browser's written reviews are positive against 100% of Door Browser's.

Aloha Browser ships an update fortnightly, Door Browser every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
