# Burn Boot Camp vs TideHaus

The clearest difference is ads: Burn Boot Camp at none against TideHaus's shown. Burn Boot Camp also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 1). TideHaus's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Burn Boot Camp against 5.0 for TideHaus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Burn Boot Camp has 17K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Burn Boot Camp ships an update every 3 weeks, TideHaus every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
