# FACEIT vs GC.SKINS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FACEIT at none against GC.SKINS's 11. FACEIT also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). GC.SKINS's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 47%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GC.SKINS sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. FACEIT asks for nothing beyond the download.

FACEIT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FACEIT has 6.7K ratings behind it against 961, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of FACEIT's written reviews are positive against 75% of GC.SKINS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FACEIT ships an update every 5 days, GC.SKINS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
