# Persian Setar Pro vs Oud Sim

The clearest difference is rating: Oud Sim at 5.0 against Persian Setar Pro's 2.8. Oud Sim also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). Persian Setar Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (22 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Persian Setar Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Oud Sim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Oud Sim holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Persian Setar Pro has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Persian Setar Pro ships an update every 7 months, Oud Sim every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
