# Lost World vs MODBOX

The clearest difference is rating: MODBOX at 4.7 against Lost World's 3.5. MODBOX also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 36 months) and ratings volume (408 vs 91). Lost World's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MODBOX sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Lost World asks for nothing beyond the download.

MODBOX holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 91 and 408 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Lost World's written reviews are positive against 76% of MODBOX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lost World ships an update every 36 months, MODBOX every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
