# Jalsah جلسة vs stc tv

The clearest difference is monetization model: Jalsah جلسة at free with in-app purchases against stc tv's subscription. Jalsah جلسة also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 49%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). stc tv's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jalsah جلسة sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and stc tv sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

stc tv holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: stc tv has 14K ratings behind it against 415, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Jalsah جلسة's written reviews are positive against 49% of stc tv's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jalsah جلسة ships an update weekly, stc tv every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
