# idefix vs TERGAN

The clearest difference is ads: TERGAN at none against idefix's shown. TERGAN also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). idefix's advantage is ratings volume (151 vs 9) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

idefix holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: idefix has 151 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

idefix ships an update weekly, TERGAN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
