# PaintNotes vs 画画填色

The clearest difference is rating: 画画填色 at 5.0 against PaintNotes's 3.8. 画画填色 also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). PaintNotes's advantage is ratings volume (29 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PaintNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 画画填色 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

画画填色 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PaintNotes has 29 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PaintNotes ships an update fortnightly, 画画填色 every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
