# 大唐玄奘 vs 初中必背

The clearest difference is monetization model: 大唐玄奘 at free with in-app purchases against 初中必背's subscription. 大唐玄奘 also leads on ratings volume (16 vs 1) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). 初中必背's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 大唐玄奘 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and 初中必背 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

初中必背 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 大唐玄奘 has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 大唐玄奘's written reviews are positive against 90% of 初中必背's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
