# Palacio Real de Madrid vs Renfe

The clearest difference is rating: Renfe at 4.6 against Palacio Real de Madrid's 3.5. Renfe also leads on ratings volume (3.5K vs 50). Palacio Real de Madrid's advantage is review sentiment (30% vs 8%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Renfe holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Renfe has 3.5K ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Palacio Real de Madrid's written reviews are positive against 8% of Renfe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
