# Reverse video vs Play Poster

The clearest difference is rating: Play Poster at 5.0 against Reverse video's 4.3. Play Poster also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 12 months). Reverse video's advantage is ratings volume (28 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.8). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Play Poster holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reverse video has 28 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Reverse video ships an update every 12 months, Play Poster every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
