# Vright vs Glitch Video Effect

The clearest difference is rating: Vright at 5.0 against Glitch Video Effect's 4.3. Vright also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). Glitch Video Effect's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vright sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Glitch Video Effect sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vright holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Glitch Video Effect has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vright ships an update every 6 weeks, Glitch Video Effect every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
