# Backgammon vs Dualis

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Dualis at none against Backgammon's 8. Backgammon's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backgammon sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Dualis asks for nothing beyond the download.

Backgammon ships an update monthly, Dualis every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
