# Nice vs Hevy

The clearest difference is rating: Hevy at 4.9 against Nice's 4.5. Hevy also leads on review sentiment (98% vs 75%) and ratings volume (102K vs 4.9K). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nice sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Hevy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hevy holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hevy has 102K ratings behind it against 4.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Nice's written reviews are positive against 98% of Hevy's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
