# Nice vs Stepbound

The clearest difference is rating: Stepbound at 5.0 against Nice's 4.5. Stepbound also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.1). Nice's advantage is ratings volume (4.9K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nice sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Stepbound asks for nothing beyond the download.

Stepbound holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nice has 4.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
