# TextMagic vs DripJobs Chat

TextMagic and DripJobs Chat both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of DripJobs Chat's written reviews are positive against 31% of TextMagic's. TextMagic's advantage is ratings volume (268 vs 12) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DripJobs Chat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TextMagic has 268 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 31% of TextMagic's written reviews are positive against 100% of DripJobs Chat's.

TextMagic ships an update every 2 weeks, DripJobs Chat fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
