# Calendar vs Calendar

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Calendar at 75% against Calendar's 36%. Calendar also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). Calendar's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (1.5M vs 28). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Calendar holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendar has 1.5M ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Calendar's written reviews are positive against 75% of Calendar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Calendar ships an update every 4 months, Calendar weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
