# Element Smart Driving vs Яндекс Драйв

The clearest difference is rating: Яндекс Драйв at 2.5 against Element Smart Driving's 1.7. Яндекс Драйв also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (304 vs 6). Element Smart Driving's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Яндекс Драйв holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Яндекс Драйв has 304 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Element Smart Driving's written reviews are positive against 14% of Яндекс Драйв's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Element Smart Driving ships an update every 2 months, Яндекс Драйв weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
