# DarknessBot vs Electric Skateboard

The clearest difference is rating: DarknessBot at 4.8 against Electric Skateboard's 2.5. DarknessBot also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). Electric Skateboard's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 59%) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DarknessBot sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Electric Skateboard asks for nothing beyond the download.

DarknessBot holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DarknessBot has 1.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of DarknessBot's written reviews are positive against 100% of Electric Skateboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DarknessBot ships an update every 2 months, Electric Skateboard every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
