# Mindvalley vs MentorShow

The clearest difference is monetization model: MentorShow at free with in-app purchases against Mindvalley's subscription. Mindvalley's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 52%) and ratings volume (7.1K vs 587). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindvalley sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and MentorShow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $499.00 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Mindvalley against 4.7 for MentorShow. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindvalley has 7.1K ratings behind it against 587, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Mindvalley's written reviews are positive against 52% of MentorShow's.

Mindvalley ships an update weekly, MentorShow fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
