# Mindvalley vs 5 Keys Communication

The clearest difference is monetization model: 5 Keys Communication at free with in-app purchases against Mindvalley's subscription. 5 Keys Communication also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Mindvalley's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (7.1K vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindvalley sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and 5 Keys Communication sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

5 Keys Communication holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindvalley has 7.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mindvalley ships an update weekly, 5 Keys Communication every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
