# Mindvalley vs Impromptu

The clearest difference is rating: Mindvalley at 4.8 against Impromptu's 3.0. Mindvalley also leads on ratings volume (7.1K vs 1) and chart position (#147 vs unranked). Impromptu's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindvalley sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and Impromptu sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mindvalley holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindvalley has 7.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mindvalley ships an update weekly, Impromptu every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
