# Mindvalley vs Dancefit Studio

The clearest difference is monetization model: Dancefit Studio at free with in-app purchases against Mindvalley's subscription. Dancefit Studio also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Mindvalley's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (7.1K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindvalley sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and Dancefit Studio sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dancefit Studio holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindvalley has 7.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of Mindvalley's written reviews are positive against 100% of Dancefit Studio's.

Mindvalley ships an update weekly, Dancefit Studio every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
