# Mars vs Float

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Float at none against Mars's 10. Float also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). Mars's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 21). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mars sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Float asks for nothing beyond the download.

Float holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mars has 22K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 91% of Mars's written reviews are positive against 100% of Float's.
