# QuintoAndar vs Biosom

The clearest difference is rating: QuintoAndar at 4.8 against Biosom's 1.0. QuintoAndar also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Biosom sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. QuintoAndar asks for nothing beyond the download.

QuintoAndar holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuintoAndar has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of QuintoAndar's written reviews are positive against 33% of Biosom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

QuintoAndar ships an update weekly, Biosom fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
