# QuintoAndar vs SimplePets

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SimplePets at 100% against QuintoAndar's 29%. SimplePets also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). QuintoAndar's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

QuintoAndar holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuintoAndar has 1.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of QuintoAndar's written reviews are positive against 100% of SimplePets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

QuintoAndar ships an update weekly, SimplePets every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
