# Sticky vs tagAR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sticky at 78% against tagAR's 0%. Sticky also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 40 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). tagAR's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 2.6). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

tagAR holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Sticky's written reviews are positive against 0% of tagAR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sticky ships an update every 9 days, tagAR every 40 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
