# VDP vs HiEasy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HiEasy at 54% against VDP's 11%. HiEasy also leads on rating (4.4 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 3). VDP's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HiEasy holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HiEasy has 1.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 11% of VDP's written reviews are positive against 54% of HiEasy's.

VDP ships an update every 2 months, HiEasy fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
