# VDP vs Briton CCTV Pro

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Briton CCTV Pro at 75 against VDP's 3. Briton CCTV Pro also leads on review sentiment (27% vs 11%). VDP's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.7 for VDP against 3.7 for Briton CCTV Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Briton CCTV Pro has 75 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 11% of VDP's written reviews are positive against 27% of Briton CCTV Pro's.

VDP ships an update every 2 months, Briton CCTV Pro every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
