# Bomber Kat vs Bomber Classic

The clearest difference is ads: Bomber Kat at none against Bomber Classic's shown. Bomber Kat also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 61%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). Bomber Classic's advantage is ratings volume (373 vs 23). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bomber Kat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bomber Classic sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Bomber Kat against 4.6 for Bomber Classic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bomber Classic has 373 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Bomber Kat's written reviews are positive against 61% of Bomber Classic's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
