# HelpPic vs Packing List Checklist

The clearest difference is ads: Packing List Checklist at none against HelpPic's shown. Packing List Checklist also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 38 months) and ratings volume (6.4K vs 2). HelpPic's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HelpPic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Packing List Checklist sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HelpPic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Packing List Checklist has 6.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HelpPic ships an update every 38 months, Packing List Checklist fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
