The clearest difference is rating: Connex Connect at 4.4 against Precision Plex's 3.3. Connex Connect also leads on ratings volume (28 vs 7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Connex Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 28 respectively.
