# Notes vs Meeting Notes & Work Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Notes at 4.8 against Meeting Notes & Work Planner's 4.1. Notes also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ratings volume (641K vs 1.9K). Meeting Notes & Work Planner's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and review sentiment (66% vs 51%). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notes has 641K ratings behind it against 1.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Notes's written reviews are positive against 66% of Meeting Notes & Work Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
