# Auto Agent vs GovWell

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GovWell at none against Auto Agent's 6. GovWell also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). Auto Agent's advantage is ratings volume (42K vs 5) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Auto Agent sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. GovWell asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Auto Agent against 5.0 for GovWell. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Auto Agent has 42K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of Auto Agent's written reviews are positive against 100% of GovWell's.

Auto Agent ships an update every 3 months, GovWell every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
