# GOconnect vs Terpel

The clearest difference is rating: Terpel at 4.3 against GOconnect's 4.0. Terpel also leads on ratings volume (81 vs 4). GOconnect's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and review sentiment (25% vs 17%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Terpel holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Terpel has 81 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of GOconnect's written reviews are positive against 17% of Terpel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GOconnect ships an update weekly, Terpel every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
