# Postcard vs Stackd

The clearest difference is monetization model: Stackd at free against Postcard's paid. Stackd also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 76%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Postcard ships an update every 4 months, Stackd every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
