# Habitify vs Basho Steps

The clearest difference is update cadence: Basho Steps at every 4 days against Habitify's every 2 weeks. Habitify's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Habitify sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Basho Steps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Habitify ships an update every 2 weeks, Basho Steps every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
