# Securitas Connect vs Trust WiFi

The clearest difference is rating: Trust WiFi at 5.0 against Securitas Connect's 2.4. Trust WiFi also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Securitas Connect's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 22 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Trust WiFi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Securitas Connect has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Securitas Connect's written reviews are positive against 50% of Trust WiFi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Securitas Connect ships an update every 2 months, Trust WiFi every 22 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
