# GoModesto! vs MLSListings

The clearest difference is rating: MLSListings at 4.5 against GoModesto!'s 3.1. MLSListings also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months). GoModesto!'s advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 22%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MLSListings holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 33 and 92 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of GoModesto!'s written reviews are positive against 22% of MLSListings's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GoModesto! ships an update every 6 months, MLSListings every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
