# Design Camera vs SKRL

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Design Camera at none against SKRL's 1. Design Camera also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). SKRL's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 41 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SKRL sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Design Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Design Camera against 4.8 for SKRL. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SKRL has 868 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Design Camera ships an update every 41 months, SKRL every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
