# Real Fish Simulator vs Shark Attack

The clearest difference is rating: Shark Attack at 4.5 against Real Fish Simulator's 2.7. Shark Attack also leads on review sentiment (54% vs 28%) and ratings volume (10K vs 117). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Real Fish Simulator sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Shark Attack sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shark Attack holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shark Attack has 10K ratings behind it against 117, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 28% of Real Fish Simulator's written reviews are positive against 54% of Shark Attack's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
