# Charming Alice vs Matching Magic

The clearest difference is update cadence: Matching Magic at every 4 days against Charming Alice's fortnightly. Matching Magic also leads on ratings volume (245 vs 26). Charming Alice's advantage is iOS requirement (7.1 vs 9.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Charming Alice sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Matching Magic sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Charming Alice against 4.8 for Matching Magic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Matching Magic has 245 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two.
