# Charming Alice vs B&J

The clearest difference is ads: Charming Alice at none against B&J's shown. Charming Alice also leads on ratings volume (26 vs 1) and iOS requirement (7.1 vs 14.0). B&J's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Charming Alice sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and B&J sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

B&J holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Charming Alice has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Charming Alice ships an update fortnightly, B&J weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
