# Memory Helper vs Memory Vault Plus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Memory Vault Plus at none against Memory Helper's 4. Memory Vault Plus also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 84%). Memory Helper's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memory Helper sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Memory Vault Plus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Memory Helper holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Memory Helper has 65 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Memory Helper's written reviews are positive against 100% of Memory Vault Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Memory Helper ships an update every 5 days, Memory Vault Plus every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
