# File Explorer & Player vs REIS

The clearest difference is ads: REIS at none against File Explorer & Player's shown. REIS also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. File Explorer & Player sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and REIS sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
