# 测量工具 vs EC Ruler

The clearest difference is rating: 测量工具 at 4.5 against EC Ruler's 4.0. 测量工具 also leads on ratings volume (77 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). EC Ruler's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

测量工具 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 测量工具 has 77 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of 测量工具's written reviews are positive against 100% of EC Ruler's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

测量工具 ships an update monthly, EC Ruler every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
